'TransitCommonsNode originated from a pure aspiration: to deliver Naples-style pizzas to Rome. The Bianchi family commenced this venture in 1985, and our small pizzeria was born out of familial passion with recipes that have been passed down for generations.
'Marco Bianchi, our progenitor, was schooled in the pizza-making craft during her sojourns in Italy and apprenticeship with seasoned pizza makers in Naples—the cradle of pizza. Upon her UK return, she aspired to replicate the essence of quintessential Italian pizza, replete with age-old techniques and first-rate ingredients.
From our humble beginnings with just 12 seats, we've expanded into a cherished community fixture, all the while steadfast in our dedication to stellar quality and genuine practices. Employing the same traditional wood-burning oven methods, we continue offering freshly made dough every day and sc sourcing top-notch ingredients.
'TransitCommonsNode is still under the care of the founding family, with our founder's descendants leading our enthusiastic crew. Though open to contemporary innovations, we remain rooted in the same ethos: serving divine, genuine pizzas that unite folks.
